I grew up in Lexington, KY and attended the University of Kentucky. I moved to Louisville in 2000 for a job in my original career of dentistry. I worked front office and clinical for 16 years in the dental field. The move to Louisville allowed me to manage the openings of new dental offices for a growing corporation until 2008.
After having my second child, I was introduced to Highland Pres Weekday School from several friends. The community here was beyond supportive and loving. That was 17 years ago and many friends I still have today came from this community. When the opportunity opened up to come to work in the office at Highland Pres, I seized the opportunity to be back involved in this wonderful community. The 2024-2025 school year is my 5th year working at HiHo.
Both of my daughters, now 17 and 20, attended HiHo. The experience they had as young children with art, music, outdoor play, idea sharing, dancing, building climbing, exploring, loving, and learning (the list goes on and on) was such a magical way to begin their journeys of learning. I am proud to be able to share my experiences with current and future families and to work alongside this incredibly smart, fun, caring and talented faculty.
When I am not at work I enjoy playing lots of tennis, camping, hiking, walking with my husband and dog and spending as much time as possible with my two daughters.
