I am originally from State College, Pennsylvania, and have always had a passion for working with young children. I am a proud alumna of Bellarmine University and Indiana University, where I earned my Master’s degree in education. I joined this incredible learning community and returned to the classroom in 2018. Before returning to the classroom, I spent 10 years as a preschool director and then had the cherished opportunity to stay home with my children for several years. Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband and two children. We enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, and making memories together.

I believe children are incredibly capable and deserve to be valued and respected. I value relationships, believe in supporting one another, and strive to show kindness and grace. In our school, we focus on play, discovery, and nurturing relationships. When I first walked through the doors I knew this was a place where children were seen and valued. I love seeing young learners grow in confidence as they explore the world around them. Their natural curiosity and sense of wonder make each day in the classroom exciting and full of new possibilities.

One of the things I appreciate most about our school community is the emphasis on connection-between students, teachers, and families. When we support and uplift one another, we create a space where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn.
